PISA konferencen, Northern Lights III
PISA konferencen, Northern Lights III, afholdes i Reykjavik 17-18 august 2009
I anledning af Islands formandskab i Nordisk ministerråd inviterer det islandske ministerium for uddannelse, forskning og kultur til en konference om PISA 2006 resultatene. En ny rapport, Northern Lights III bliver præsenteret på konferencen der finder sted på Grand hotel i Reykjavik dagene 17-18 august 2009.
Konferencen arrangeres i samarbejde med NSS, Rådgivningsgruppen for nordisk skolesamarbejde og Arbejds- og forskergruppen om PISA 2006. Hovedtema for konferencen er elevernes præstation i naturfag ved slutningen af den obligatoriske skolegang. De fleste forelæsere er forfattere af den nye Northern Lights III rapport som udkommer i forbindelse med konferencen og udgives af Nordisk ministerråd.
På konferencen bliver de nordiske resultater i PISA 2006 gennengået, ligesom holdninger til elever og skoleledere og relationer mellem naturfagpræstationer og mange baggrundsvariabler. Forskelle og ligheder mellem de nordiske lande bliver også diskuteret.
- Northern Lights III- konferencen afholdes for dem der sætter kursen i uddannelsespolitik i Norden, lærere og skoleledere, samt forskere. NSS ønsker at repræsentationen af gæster fra de nordiske land bliver så bred som muligt.
